DataSite Northwest

In 1992 DataSite began as the dream of two young Seattle entrepreneurs. Long employed in senior management of the areas largest records management company, they recognized a real need for a locally based company that would provide a more customer centric approach to serving the off-site data protection needs of the Puget Sound IT community. And so DataSite Northwest was born. Dave Heric and Dale Mitchell pooled their limited resources and launched the company. Since launching the business in early 1993, DataSite's media storage business has grown in exceptional ways. As the Seattle high tech sector has grown, so has DataSite. Today DataSite boasts more than 500 clients across all sectors of industry. Four years ago, DataSite evolved into significantly different company. It has grown to include a records storage and document shredding division which was the result of the addition of a 3rd business partner, Doug Jordan. Doug served as the General Manager of the former Bekins Records Management operation throughout five western states.
